Hi guys, After I bought the car at 120K miles and put about 20K on it, I started to hear a noise when turning the steering wheel. I added fluid, the sound stopped. But then it started to make noise continuously, Finally, I completely changed everything including belt, pump, power steering tank, power steering fluid. I put standard power steering fluid in case the car was old, maybe the oil was thin. I was normally using Pentosin ehf. The steering has generally softened, I get normal sound in turns. Just got a 2017 Discovery sport. I’m not crazy about the current touchscreen radio that’s in the vehicle and would like to replace it with one that has Apple CarPlay. My local stereo place said you can’t change out those radios but then I see online you can purchase radios that fit the land rovers. I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to upload a custom wallpaper to the infotainment system. I don’t like the wallpapers they have but was curious to know if it would involve the IMC system. I tried using a USB drive in fat32 format, uploading the wallpaper there and see if I can save the files on the touch screen. Seems like it would only read media files only.
