So first I want to prefrace that I 100% understand that face painting is a real job that takes SKILL I'm not trying to imply that this easy or anything. I’m an amateur face painter that has been painting casually for the past 5 years and most recently have started taking more paid gigs. (Yes I have insurance, just got it this week!) I’ve been reading through all the Reddit posts in the face painting subreddit and I haven’t seen anyone talking about which brushes they prefer. I know that I need the basics.. Hello everyone. My partner is a wonderful artist and enthusiastically pursues every form of arts & crafts she can get her hands on. She’s never done face painting and we’ve talked about her doing it as a side-hustle.
