Our building (about 25 units) in Williamsburg does not provide any bins for compost. It seems like the entire neighborhood but us uses these and i want to start composting as well. Are there any laws mandating that buildings provide a compost bin? Our property managers are both terrible and their jobs and extremely unhelpful so us “just wanting” something will not be a good enough reason for them to do it. I'm in a ground-level brownstone duplex on a quiet residential street in bedstuy. Rent is below market. Landlord is absentee. You win some you lose some. I refuse to be gracious in defeat against this f-ng wall though. I know brick is a dust sponge, and that's part of what's causing my respiratory woes, but dust is the enemy I know. Does anybody have experience with this school or know its general reputation? Has it been getting better or worse over the years? We are zoned for it and have lived around the block from it for years but admittedly don’t know much about it. Based on Niche/Great Schools, it looks pretty average from a city-wide perspective but I would like to hear any anecdotes from those with first or second hand experience.
