Hello, we found a great apartment on Severn Street (Severn House). I’m aware that is next to the “motorway” and really close to the train station - okay to walk during the day? Night? It’s right next to the Mailbox as well… How’s the mall? thank you ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Edited: it’s Severn street. Not road

Harborne has a new market, a cross between farmer's and artisan market taking place Saturday 20th April, from 10am - 3pm, just off the high street and right beside Home Bargains.
There's 50+ traders there, all small local businesses offering a little bit of everything: Your standard farmer's market produce, cheese, meat, fish, bread, beer, wine etc - all made by the people running the stall but there's also artists and creatives, people who make ceramics and crochet and a ton of food including street food.
The socials are here for more info: https://www.instagram.com/theharbornemarket

Hi all - I’ve been looking to buy with a budget of around 170k for a while now in Birmingham. How is Park Central in terms of safety and charges? I’ve seen quite a few flats pop up for sale round there and the service charges do appear to be around 1.5 - 2k.
Not a fully knowledgeable local so any other suggestions would be helpful.

Can anyone recommend somewhere centralish (town, Digbeth, Jewellery Qtr) for a private party for 100-150 people - a paid bar, some nibbles, and not £4000 to hire???

Am I the only one seeing a problem here?
In exchange for exorbitant council tax, is the council serving the community as a whole or is it serving something else?
