It was so exciting to open up my art studio a few weeks back for Denver Arts Week. Now that my gallery is closed, I have been deep in the creative process and my new art studio is such a sacred, private space. So I had a blast being able to open my doors to an intimate crowd and show off my new creative space. The coolest thing about the location of my studio is that it is onsite of a local distillery, Ironton Distillery. I’m excited to share this power smoothie with you all. This is my go to pre-workout smoothie these days. I have always been a big fan of eating a banana before a workout. It’s easy energy and never makes me nauseous during a workout, which some fruits and nut butters seem to do. I wanted a smoothie that would digest easily but also have some protein to kick off my day. Summer may be winding down, but canned wine is here to stay – which means there’s no reason to put the rosé away after Labor Day.
