I'm moving to key west in just a bit for work and was informed I should look at getting something other than a car to get around. I've visited Blue Heaven at least a half dozen times over the years and each time I come away a little disappointed. Last night's visit will be my last. It wasn't one particular incident but rather a perfect storm of all the things I've experienced in the past. Pretentious hosting, indifferent service and overpriced , mediocre food. Blue Heaven is not the "best restaurant in Key West". Hell, it's not even the best restaurant in a half mile radius, Red Shoe Bistro and Santiago's are superior and I'd even throw the Moondog in the mix.
