In the New Testament, one of Jesus’s many miracles was walking on water. His disciple, Peter, claimed to have the faith in God that he, too, could walk on the water, but when Pe ..read more

Sometimes falling in love is not as complicated as it seems. Newfound love can feel simple and right. In “Kingston” by Faye Webster, the experience of a quaint and quiet love is detailed throughout the lyrics.
Throughout the song, Webster explores the vulnerability one can feel when falling in love with someone. The song embodies the mood of a cozy summer in Georgia where the artist has found herself hopelessly in love with someone new.
Webster paints a dreamy, warm picture through her lyrics. Her vulnerability shines through with the lines, “I think that tonight I’ll leave my light on ..read more
