How important is accuracy to you for AI contrat review?

Going to preface this with the fact I'm the HoM for an AI legal tech platform, not going to shill though... as Reddit haha! So consider this research! One thing that 'we' are really proud of is our platform's accuracy when reviewing/comparing/analysing legal contracts - to the extent of making it our north star. My question is, no other vendors publish their accuracy statistics publicly like we do (because we are 100% confident we are unbeaten), why? Would you say it's not that important? I get a lot of them are Chat GPT wrappers etc (ours isn't), so can only go by the performance of that but ..read more

Launching a Fully Virtual Family Law Firm

Hi there - I'm a family law attorney in the southeast US with 10yrs of varied family law experience (private high net worth, child support enforcement through govt agency, and contract work with a small family law firm) I am building a firm from the ground up without any real guidance as most of the old heads refused to go virtual before the pandemic and a lot of them are just adapting to the post zoom landscape. As you probably know, family law can be super competitive, and I don't feel comfortable asking any of the homies in my network about their experience with AI or any other forms of le ..read more

What kind of legal document automation solution does your firm use, and why?

I have worked in law firms for many years and then later learned to code and now work in the legal tech industry. I have helped develop document automation software for large companies, such as WealthCounsel. If you aren't familiar with WealthCounsel, they are the U.S.A.'s largest provider of estate planning, business law, and elder law software. (This isn't an ad for them hahaha. I don't work there anymore.) Many document automation solutions, such as those offered by Clio are very basic. The solution offered by Clio is basically just a glorified mail merge. There is no ability to insert log ..read more

I’m looking for customer reviews of legaltech tools, especially all the new ones using AI. Anyone know of a ranking or rating site like this? So hard to compare options and tell how much of what’s on companies’ pages is marketing hype versus real. Thanks! submitted by /u/Icy-Bat-1070 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi Everyone, I have been working on a startup for past couple of months and trying to find a problem. Specifically I am developing a platform where people can describe their circumstance and get meaningful answers regarding that. The answers will range from telling what should the person do, to, mentioning previous similar public cases and their outcome. We are building this cause we figured out lot of people don't even go the legal route as they think their case is not worth it. We ultimately want to become a one stop platform where people can ask questions and then we will recommend them la ..read more
