I was sent to the “free” clinic on my release from prison last year. Was sent from the clinic to walnut grove for a CT scan. Then received a bill for the scan. I’ve been in direct contact with both places and can not get the two together to understand they’re both Baptist organizations, that I was indigent at the time and never told I’d be responsible for the bill. Im in my mid twenties, single, with good savings and no debt, and I've lived in Memphis my whole life. Ive travelled out to NYC, Chicago, Nashville, St louis, and Atlanta before by myself but only for visiting, 5 days maximum.
