For those of you out there with irrigated lots - did you lay sod or start with seed? I've laid seed for a number of years but with big dogs it's always spotty. My newest puppy is a digger and I just had my backyard graded. After years of it being uneven, I'm starting from scratch. I'm wondering if I can lay sod over the berms and fill in seed elsewhere to cut costs? So far, the cheapest I've found is 91C/sq ft of sod. I'm looking at filling in roughly 2500 sq ft.
