Confuse Their Speech

Psalm 55:9 says Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city. Do you want to confuse the devil and your enemies? Start praising God for Who He Is. Your praise will cause your enemies to Babel. What I love about this verse that David is sharing with us is that when chaos and disruption is around the Lord will come in and confuse their speech. It’s like watching a person trying to speak and all of a sudden they can’t get it out. It’s called Babel for a reason. In Genesis 11:8 So the LORD scattered them from there over the face of all the earth, and ..read more

Good morning, I hope you are having a great day so far. There is a song that we  says “Open the eyes of my heart Lord, open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you, I want to see, see you high and lifted up, shinning in the light of your glory, pour out your power in love as we sing holy, holy, holy. What a beautiful song and as I was thinking about this song and its meaning, I asked myself this question are we really meaning the words of the song in our hearts? We say we want God to open the eyes of our heart so that we can see God, but the minute God does we ignore what He shows us. There w ..read more

Do you View the Bible as a Chore?

2 Timothy 2:15 say’s Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The reason that many of us can’t rightly divide the word is because we view reading and studying it as a chore instead of a lifestyle. What type of quality do you give when it comes to reading your bible? How much quantity do you give into searching what you have read? Are you taking notes so when the Holy Spirit speaks to you about what you read, you won’t forget it? Let’s be honest with ourselves, reading the bible can be difficult because God’s standar ..read more

Jeremiah 18:1-6 says’ the word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so, he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.  Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O ..read more

From my house to yours, I like to say Happy Thanksgiving Day to all of you. May each of you enjoy your time with your family and friends. And for those who will be traveling I pray that God protects you and bring you back safely. For me Thanksgiving Day starts the season for me and my family. Last weekend we put up our tree. It has always been a tradition to have the tree up before Thanksgiving Day. One of the things I enjoy doing when I wake up on Thanksgiving Day is to turn on the television and watch the Macy’s Day Parade. And let’s not forget about the Black Friday Shopping. Yes, I must ..read more

James 4:4 says” You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Now this will probably upset many people including you, but we must talk about it. When it comes to music nobody knows music like the devil for when he was in heaven God gave him the position of music. Satan began to think that he was God. So when the Lord threw him and 2/3 of his people with him meaning angels out of heaven. Satan begun his own thing here on earth with the music. This is why we must be v ..read more

Philippians 2:14 – Do all things without murmurings and disputing: Ephesians 4:29 – Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. What we complain about someone else would be thankful for! We complain about our jobs someone else wish they had a job. We complain about our cars someone else wish they had a car.  What we complain about someone else would say we are blessed. As Thanksgiving approaches us. We need to take a real look at what we have and be grateful. One of the things my mother a ..read more

1 Samuel 16:7 says” But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. What lessons can we learn from Jacob? Genesis 32: 24-28 Jacob was the son of  Isaac and Rebekah the brother of Esau and the grandson of Abraham and Sarah. Jacob is known for his trickery. For he tried to persuade Esau to sell him his birthright and when he said no. He tricked his poor father into believing that he was Esau and so his dad ended up giving him the birthright. He came out of his mother’s womb grasping his brother’s Easu heal, all because he wanted to come out the womb first. Anytime you and I have anything that is not Godly in our lives God will break it. For Jacob, God had to ..read more
