My doctors won't listen when I've told them I've tried everything under the sun, they also gave me Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% and it doesn't work... I'm so close to the end, but I'm stressed out because that the amount of school that I've missed because this stupid condition... Does anyone have any advice? Anything is appreciated

been almost 6 months since i've had this patch of weeping eczema on my breasts. went to get a biopsy and all and cancer has been ruled out so i got diagnosed with eczema/dermatitis. been on multiple antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefalaxin etc) because doctors thought the weeping might be due to infection but nothing's changed.
when it first happened a few months ago, i was on a low concentration of desowen and i noticed little to small changes so i stopped using it to give my skin a break. weeping stopped for awhile but flared up again and i got prescribed xepacort. used it for a few days but rea ..read more

I’ve been struggling with eczema around my eyelids and mustache area for a very long time. Any tips on repairing the skin barrier? Did you have to eliminate certain foods?

I used to have really bad eczema on my face and now that it’s better I’ve been trying to introduce retinol into my skin care routine. Since years of eczema has aged my skin :( Every retinol I’ve tried has made my under eyes and chin eczema flair up and then I have to cut it out for at least a week before trying a different one. Is there hope for this? I’m wondering if anyone has found a retinol that doesn’t cause flair ups.
I’m using it at bedtime and with spf as instructed.

After nearly year of one of the worst eczema flare ups since childhood, my skin was almost completely clear! It felt so good to be able to wear makeup, not be constantly checking the mirror, and not have a horrible constant itch. It was a long time in the making, but I finally figure out my major triggers: GLUTEN, eggs, dairy. Unfortunately, I love gluten. I love bread, pasta, pastries, dumplings, all of it. Im basically vegan except for the only thing i can eat is meat! It’s been so difficult for me to cut out of my diet. Pasta and pizza are always the go-to quick dinner with friends.

Does anybody has eczema mild and controllable on all body parts, except for the face? I use avantan and elidel on my face, yet my face is red and swollen often.

It is making my life miserable but equally having to do away with Coke Zero would be equally as miserable especially if it turns out to not be a trigger.

The little fluid filled blisters look the same, but different only because the skin on hands and feet is different...

A heads up - it is a long post but I just want to send a bundle of hope to all of you lovely people, my eczema has significantly reduced to a point that I can say I am on my way to being healed. So, I was diagnosed with severe eczema out of the blue seven years back, when I turned 19 and like anybody who is living with eczema, it took a severe toll mentally (don't even get me started about the itch, that it followed, and, oh! the mental itch that people gave with their ridiculous questions). And to make it worse, my dermatologist (a reputed doctor in the country), told me it couldn't be cured ..read more
