It comes amid increasingly hostile legislation across the US aimed at trans people, with lawmakers particularly seeking to remove access to gender affirming care f ..read more

Yet on Beyoncé’s version, she’s joined by a number of little-known, upcoming Black American women who are beginning to make waves in country music. There’s Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, and Tiera Kennedy; all of whom have onl ..read more

Rumours of a gender-swapped, lesbian version of Brokeback Mountain have resurfaced today (March 29), but sadly it’s all just that – a rumour. This rumour actually started way back in 2016, when satirical website The Portly Gazette reported that the sequel film would “follow two le ..read more

Cowboy Carter, the long-awaited follow-up to Beyoncé’s Renaissance, is finally here. The music legend has now revealed that she was initially supposed to release Cowboy Carter first – this is why she changed her mind. While the genre-blending, mammoth 27-track Cowboy Carter has long been dubbed the “Act II” to her 2022 dance record (and should-have-been Grammy Album of the Year) Renaissance, it turns out that the album was planned for release years before Renaissance was even made. Speculation about how long Cowboy Carter has existed began when the 42-year-old superstar announced the album bac ..read more
