Hi, I’m currently in the process of rehabbing a vintage safari style chair. Chair currently has fabric seats, but I would like to change to leather. The chair has a sling seat and back (similar to a directors chair). What type of leather would you recommend for this project? Where do you recommend buying from? Here are two very similar chair for more picture references! https://haustheory.com/products/safari-chair-ottoman-gold-metal-folding-co https://www.ebay.com/itm/225944634995?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rtAbU6kwSxa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=& ..read more

My couch is separating (see picture) and I am not sure how to get it back together. I tried a hand held staple gun but that does not work. Will glue do the trick? submitted by /u/lnordmeyer11 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I need help to identify the name of the style and potential material of the upholstery in this painting. It is a painting, but a direct copy of a magazine photo from the 1970s or 1980s. Thanks!

I picked up these chairs the other day. They're perfect for my house and I love the pattern. Please tell me I can freshen the upholstery! You can see the difference between the arm cover and the rest of the chair. submitted by /u/tropicalislandhop [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Couch Cambric Usefulness

During my investigation, looking for a missing Roku remote, I removed several staples holding the Cambric from bottom of couch. I located my missing remote, but also found 3 additional remotes (didn't know I ever had that many), 2 books, kids scissors, and about 2 bowls worth of cereal. My question is if there is an actual good reason to keep the Cambric on the bottom or just remove it so it can drop the junk and I sweep underneath every week. It is a very low couch so I don't think there is an aesthetic reason to keep. submitted by /u/jasaevan [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
