I see majority people with traumatic brain injury have so much faith in god. God helping you where you are at… what about the impossible to recover symptoms?? Not speaking in sentences and just rambling. Racing thoughts. Anxious. Running back and forth 24/7. Ruining all my relationships with people. I'm (F30) going insane. I don't really know how long this has been a problem. I guess I would have to say when I was first in the hospital, right after my wreck (2013). I snapped my femur in half so I was stuck in a hospital bed unable to move. Any time I needed to go to the bathroom, I would have to press a button on the side on my hospital bed and wait on a nurse to come and do a lift transfer to a wheel chair. My husband has a TBI following two car accidents that resulted in concussions. It has been over a year since the second accident and we still have a long road ahead of us. I am finding myself at a loss for ideas on how to get him out of the house. Currently, he only leaves when I drive him to doctor/therapy appointments, and I can tell he is frustrated sitting in the house all day, every day. I am 28F and my partner is 32M . We been in relationship together since 2017 so 7 plus years together and we have daughter who is 6 years old . My partner got hit by car riding his bike in 2020 . I’m having a really difficult time understanding what it means when my husband says “ I feel weird right now and don’t feel good “ I can tell he doesn’t feel well ( 25 yrs ). 5 months ago, my husband was hit by a vehicle while on his motorcycle, both going about 30mph or so. He didn't break anything or have any serious injuries right away, which was a blessing. But he did get diagnosed with a TBI and it's just progressively getting worse. At first he was just forgetting small things and his mood was more irritable. My TBI was caused by improper medical care I was sent home after a tumor was removed from my brain. There was a CSF leak after I got home I had a seizure because my CSF fluid was low when my head jerked back and forth my brain played ping pong with the sides of my skull. That was in 2012 since then I live my life in pain most of the things I enjoyed I cannot do anymore.
