This is a story about a little boy called Felix who loves trains, but loves his triplet sisters more. This is a story about a Unicorn Mummy and Daddy who dreamed for years of a family. Through a mix of hope, belief, a sprinkle of fairy dust and a little science, ten years later that dream finally came true. The Due Date
In general none of us take much notice of due dates. On average only four percent of babies actually arrive on their 40 week due date (according to various Baby experts). My son arrived at 42+2.
For us multiple mommas we have another date – the ‘in between’ date that we all hope we can get to. In that sense the due date in our maternity notes becomes pretty pointless, as we know we will not reach it. My ‘in between’ date was set for 34+2 weeks gestation – unfortunately we didn’t reach it, but that’s another story.

Living with PTSD.
I live my life day to day. Aside from the standard stresses that come from parenting and ‘stuff’, I hold onto a glorious contentment. A gratitude and wonder at being Mummy. It was a long time coming and I thank goodness.
And then days like yesterday happen and you come along and remind me that you’re there, always lurking in the shadows. Will you ever leave me?
Illness
