Nothing is ever a waste of time if you don’t make it so. Any and every experience can be walked away from with a lesson if you change your perspective. Over the last year of my singledom, I’ve learned many a lesson. Sometimes the same lesson a few times over until it stuck. Sometimes, a gay man is just who you need to give you a metaphorical ‘bitchslap’ to get you back on track.
