Hi there!! ??‍? I’m so glad you made your way here from my cookbook. I created this post to supplement the Plant-Based Prep, Simplified section of my cookbook. Plant-based cuisine has a reputation for being labor intensive. In this post’s video, I share my favorite small appliances, gadgets and tools for easing the process.  None of these items are a must in the kitchen – well, it’d be hard to do without a knife, peeler and can opener – but they’re certainly nice to have. If you’d like to learn more about any of them, I share links for you to check them out on Amazon here. But cer ..read more

Hello! It’s me, Diana.??‍? I’m so happy you made it here from my cookbook. I created this video to address the question, “I’ve got guests coming for dinner, everyone’s got a different diet, what do I feed them?” In this situation, I’m a big fan of build-your-own-bars and you’ll see one I created in this video. In addition to these tortillas, the Rainbow Thai Bowl with Peanut Lime Ginger Sauce is one of my favorites for this type of occasion. The video’s a little goofy, but I had fun making it. I hope you enjoy watching it. ? Diana    ..read more

Ultimate Popcorn Clusters with Chocolate Drizzle Video

Oh hi!! I’m so glad the QR Code in my cookbook led you here. ? These popcorn clusters are so good! You’ll see from the video, they require just a few easy steps. If you’d like a thin chocolate drizzle as shown, add about 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil to your melted chocolate. It allows for an artistic drizzle, but I don’t think it adds much, if anything, to the overall result.    If you try these clusters and would like to share your thoughts, feel free to submit a comment below. I’d love to hear from you. Happy Cooking!   ??‍? Diana    ..read more

Hello!! ??‍? I’m so glad you made your way here from my cookbook. These crab cakes are so yummy and easy to make, I wanted to share this video with you so you can see how it’s done. After watching, I hope you’re inspired to get cooking. This video’s kind of silly, but I couldn’t help bringing Sponge Bob along for the ride. Krabby Patties are iconic in Bikini Bottom. I’d like to think these plant-based Crab Cakes are also iconic here in New England and beyond. If you try the Crab Cakes and would like to share your thoughts, submit a comment below. I’d love to hear from you.  ? Diana &nbs ..read more

The Ultimate Popcorn Clusters with Chocolate Drizzle   Sweet and Crunchy Popcorn Treat Growing up I was a huge fan of Cracker Jacks. Wholesome, packed with nutritious seeds and almonds. No heavily processed sugars and corn syrup. Home made, delicious, easy to prepare ..read more

Easiest Vegan Crab Cakes

Easiest Vegan Crab Cakes I think you will love this easy-to-prepare dish as a main course or appetizer.   The recipe is a hit in my kitchen. While recipe testing, I’ve made them three times recently. No worries about waste. Every platter I make gets scoffed right up. There’s something nostalgia inducing about this dish. To me, they taste of New England in the summer…seaside dining, the sound of the ocean, a summer breeze. Okay, I digress…   All in One Bowl This vegan crab cakes recipe is pretty simple. A bit of chopping, some mixing, form the patties and then fry them up. Start ..read more
