I created BÈL MONIQUE for the everyday black woman - and extended it out into a monthly digital magazine, featuring us on the cover of every single issue. I wanted everyday black women to be heard and seen in a light that is rarely shined upon us. A light of vulnerability, variety, beauty, resiliency - and every other word that defines the characteristics of black woman magic.
