If you want to do,
what God says is right
open up the Bible . . .
and follow its Light.
For the Word of God,
will not mislead you
for it spells out . . .
exactly what to do.
If you what the truth,
just read across the pages
for the Bible makes clear
the sins throughout the ages.
For the Word of God,
will give your moral clarity
and instruct you how to live
a life of sinless purity.
If you want the truth,
of what you need to do
open up the Bible . . .
and let the facts guide you!

When I am feeling faint,
when my heart is spent
early to the Lord I go . . .
and to Him I lament.
I tell Him my troubles,
I let Him know my woes
my barren soul to Him
I humbly expose.
When I am feeling weak,
when my spirit is dry
early to the Lord I go . . .
as rivers to Him I cry.
I tell Him about my needs,
I let Him know all my cares
my thoughts I give to Him
as they become my prayers.
Once I recognize,
I am in a thirst place
early to the Lord I go . . .
for another dose of grace!
