The new has come,
old things gone
when to Jesus
we are drawn.
Gone the lusts,
and the greed
when to Jesus
we choose to heed.
A new creation,
born again
gone the old man’s
cold disdain.
Gone the sins,
and the wickedness
when to Jesus
we openly confess.
The new has come,
to sin dead
alive now in . . .
Jesus instead!

Do you feel the pull,
of God calling you
do you feel the tug
deep inside of you?
Do you feel your heart,
starting to give in
do you feel the need
to turn from your sin?
Do you feel the push,
of wanting to know more
do you feel the pound
knocking on the door?
Do you feel your spirit,
starting to awaken
do you feel your soul
stirred and shaken?
Do you feel the nudge,
moving you God’s way
do you feel Jesus saying
come and let us pray?
