Silence is quantifiable, like absolute zero or the colour black, but the experience of silence is not. Like all objective phenomena, it can only be experienced subjectively. To describe it in words, like the redness of a tomato or the atmosphere in a room, we have to triangulate it with reference to those things which it is not – contextualise it, allude to what it emerged from and what it will bring about, and how it is being perceived. My boyfriend and I are looking to start a blog about hiking, camping, and traveling--all with our dog! We would love to write about dog-friendly places, review gear (both human and canine), etc. So far, we have come up with "Tails, Trails, and Travels" and "Ruffing It." Do you have any other suggestions??? submitted by /u/Glittering_Matter536 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

First time sharing here, kind/helpful feedback is welcomed. I began travel writing a couple years ago after losing everything in a fire. Getting paid (modestly) to write about something I love to do is not something I take for granted. Thanks for reading and have a good one out in your corner of the world <3 https://uproxx.com/life/what-to-do-in-rwanda-travel-guide/ submitted by /u/mellybelly07 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
