Hi I try to apply for jobs through AIP on jobbank. But I notice a thing that most of the job have email address is ending with gmail or hotmail.com. Is it legit and common practice in Canada or is it a scam asking to pay for job offer. As someone from Australia, it's strange to see that. Even small restaurants here in Australia will use their name as their email address. Thanks for your help submitted by /u/strangesupreme88 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Proof of PR of sibling vs Proof of status

Hi! I'm claiming points for a sibling in Canada, so I understand that I need to submit proof of his PR status (and our relationship and proof of residency). However, there is also a document required for "Family member proof of status". Is this the same or should I also include the status of my parents and other siblings in here (all are PR in Canada). Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/nidgroot [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello everyone! I am currently on PGWP and I graduated in April 2023. I applied for my PGWP on May 16 and received it in October 2023. From April 2023- August 2023, I've worked in the position of 'Student Admin, logistics and operation' at the same university where I graduated from. I worked 35 hours a week in this position. I was wondering if this experience could be counted towards CEC and if I should go ahead and create EE profile? My official offer letter says that I will be working 35 hours per week and it was not through student work experience. Following is my job description: Job Summ ..read more

Family info (Should I add my mother’s husband too?)

Hi, I’m in the process of submitting my PR application and it’s asking me for family information. My mother re-married in her current country of residence, so should I add her husband in the family details too since there is “step-father” as one of the options? Silly question, but I don’t have any ties with the husband, so I’m confused. Thank you. submitted by /u/CautiousThought2376 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
