Sam & Ekta at Cortona on the Move - an international art festival hosted by Cortona in the Provence of Arezzo, Italy

A few months ago, a simple message showed up in our Instagram inbox. It was from Paolo Woods. To paraphrase, it essentially said that ‘I am the curator of this year’s edition of Cortona on the Move, among the most known photo festivals of Italy; and I would like to invite you to be a part of this year’s festival’. At first, we didn't believe it. We really thought someone was pulling a joke on us. We had never sent in any applications anywhere, so we were really surprised as a series of events unfolded after that. We spoke to Paolo on the phone. He told us that he is including wedding photograp ..read more

Dance your dance like no one else - An attempt at visual poetry

What we have seen, and continue to see in weddings inspired this attempt Our collaborative creative process is such that there is no specific starting point, especially because we don't know what form things will take. Last evening, after finally being home together after months on the road with time and freedom for our creative energies to play, it has taken a form of visual poetry inspired by photographs of moments we have shot across weddings As Ekta came to me with a curated bunch of visuals, I started writing. And things started coming together such that every line of the poem correspon ..read more

Pooja & Manjot's heartfelt wedding at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, India

While Pooja & Manjot knew, and knew of each other for a while; it took some time for their story to brew. What they share in common is a love for good food, good music & dance. At the same time, they are quite different from each other in some ways - if you know them, you know what we are talking about. One thing though, is for certain - that together, they are electric. Their relationship blossomed during the pandemic, and we are so fortunate that we had the opportunity to meet them and hear Manjot narrate everything that happened - he is an incredible storytelling. We are even luckie ..read more

“We are going to Cannes”, we said to ourselves. And we still couldn’t believe it. You see, there are a few places in the world that mean much more to you than just being a point on a map - I’m sure each one of us has a few of those. Cannes, to us, means something. And we had the opportunity, fortune, luck & honour to document the wedding of Radhika & Yasho there - two incredible human beings we have been so fortunate to get to know better, as we went about clicking away, as they said their vows in the South of France. While all of us stayed at The Martinez, the venues were diverse - th ..read more

Khrisha & Anmol grew up in the same city, and went to the same school. Then, life took them on their individual journeys across the world - to places of education & to fields of work. Eventually their paths crossed again, and they fell in love. Over the last few years, Khrisha & Anmol have built a beautiful little bubble of love of their own, away from the prying eyes of the world. They are both intensely private, and beautiful human beings. Over this journey of documenting their wedding, we have been fortunate to get a glimpse into their lives. What we have seen from close quarter ..read more

Saba & Ishaan at the ITC Grand Bharat, India

Saba & Ishaan got married at the ITC Grand Bharat in a celebration that was so unconventional, it is definitely among the most unique experiences we have had documenting a wedding. For starters, it began with a haldi ceremony where no one wore yellow because Saba is not particularly fond of the colour. Everyone was dressed in a beautiful shade of blue. The mehendi happened at night. The Baraat happened on the day before the wedding ceremony, and the sangeet happened on the evening after they said their vows. See what we mean? This is definitely among the most special, warm, offbeat wedding ..read more

Mehandi & Shivam are opposites in so many ways, and yet so similar in some. Mehandi can light up any room she is in, spreading so much love around, it is unbelievable. On the other hand, you will find Shivam in the same room, in the middle of his closest friends, trying to stay out of the spotlight. And then Mehandi will find him and pull him onto the dance floor, and you will see what love is. We were incredibly fortunate to document Mehandi & Shivam’s story, working alongside some great people & teams who wove their magic to make this a one-of-a-kind celebration. The list of all ..read more

FROM SMITI & NILESH Sam & Ekta were the first photographers we reached out to when we got engaged, and from the very first phone call we had we were sold! These are two of the most genuine, dedicated and talented people you’ll meet - to say they are INCREDIBLE at what they do would never be enough. They really go the extra mile at every step - they work on getting to genuinely know you, integrating into your family, and then seamlessly capturing the most precious and even tiniest of moments over some of the most important days of your life while you don’t even realise they’re around!
