We are over the moon to announce that we are the British Gymnastics Club of the Year! It was just announced by BG that we triumphed in the large club category. Leeds Gymnastics Club, which traces its roots back to the Leeds Athletic Institute in the 1960s is now based at Seacroft in Leeds. The club has grown significantly since 2012 when it moved into its own facility and now offers exceptional gymnastics to every ability and age. Club Viewing Area: Conditions for safe use

We are aware of the difficulties of having no viewing area, and we thank all our customers for bearing with us during these difficult times. We of course want to give you the opportunity to watch your classes, whilst at the same time reducing risk of Covid spread to our customers and staff.  As you will see, we have invested in three new TVs and a CCTV camera system which will live stream all parts of the gym onto the new screens. Following changes in the Government’s guidelines on isolation following close contact, and further British Gymnastics guidance, we have reviewed our Covid risk assessment again. We continue to strive to keep gymnasts and staff safe whilst moving to a more “normal situation”. We have decided to stop taking temperatures on arrival but will continue to hand-sanitise on entering and leaving the building. Lockdown – Since permission was granted by the Government to re-open on Saturday 25 July 2020, the club has adopted a slow, steady and measured approach to a safe return to the gym for all our members. Throughout lockdown, we have delivered 292 Zoom classes, extensively trained staff on new safety protocols, updated risk assessments, produced a video of what training looks like on return and professionally developed our dedicated staff.
