Andre Gray, a veteran NCAA men’s basketball coach with head coaching experience, has joined the staff of Western Carolina first-year head coach Tim Craft. Vice President and Director of Athletics Tiffani-Dawn Sykes named Patrick Crarey II the 15th head men’s basketball coach at Florida A&M, April 17, 2024. Crarey comes to the Highest of Seven Hills after leading St. Thomas University to a 61-27 record, two consecutive NAIA Tournaments, and three straight winning seasons in the three seasons leading the Bobcats. Enright has spent the past five seasons as the head coach at Bridgewater College (VA), where he has gone 50-61 (.450). His best year came this past season, when he led the Eagles to a 16-10 (9-7 ODAC) record. Enright is a New England native who has worked as an assistant at VMI, and as the assistant DBO at URI. Word on the street is that he is headed to Youngstown State, where he will join new head coach Ethan Faulkner’s staff as an assistant coach. Sean Hanrahan has stepped down from his position as the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Warner University to become the full-time AD at the school. Florida Atlantic head men’s basketball John Jakus announced Tuesday that Todd Abernethy is returning to the staff as an assistant coach. This will mark Abernethy’s sixth season with the Owls.  Abernethy joined FAU’s staff in the spring of 2019, having spent the previous season as the head coach at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.
