Dublin is the rare bird of fashion photography. It combines the old and the New in a salubrious chocolate box of melted greys and browns with flashy greens and blues. It is a cacophony of style, combining the trendy non belted Channels with the leather overcoat of hipster modern.

No. 10 2001 A Space Odyssey
Director Stanley Kubrick gives advice on set
This particular film is more for the minimalist in you. Yes it’s a long film, well over 3 hours, and the story line is not very complex, but the cinematography is as spectacular as the acting. WeeGee, like so many of his contemporaries, was born in the old Austrian Hungarian Imperial Provence of Central and Eastern Europe, which has since been split up. The question always is “what is it meant to be?”. This is what you will hear a lot when dealing with contemporary art too, however, if Art cannot experiment, can it really grow? As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we don’t have to like it, for someone else to own it.

Dublin’s Docklands have changed incredibly over recent decades and none more so then down by the East Link Bridge. Here you can find the 3 Arena, which used to be the O2 and before this the Point Depot. A lot of concerts have taken place in the area, and a lot of memories shape these wonderful nights out, but there is a very different feel only 50 metres up the road, if you take the time to wander. This photo is of the old railway line which must have been used to move goods. It’s a desolate but beautiful area now.
If you are visiting places which are derelict or run down make sure you wear bo ..read more
