I was walking down the streets of London, UK trying to get my son to finally fall asleep on my back. Over the last few years I have been chatting with families from our community about their experiences bottle-feeding their babies. Listening to these families stories I hear that the bonds and connections we have with our babies are the same however baby is fed. I walked back and forth, up and down the hallway of my house.  It was raining.  I would walk between contractions then pause at the window and roll out the pressure in my hips by moving them in circles while I focused on the raindrops rolling down my front window.  It was intense, but manageable. One of the many awesome bonuses of being a photographer of young families and births in Ottawa is meeting SO many amazing people! Little did I know when I walked into this family's home I would meet a fellow mom, photographer and now friend. Mom's warmth, kindness and sunny disposition (now I know why people use those words!!) runs through her home and children!
