Without having goals and deadlines set for upcoming events, it can be hard to stay motivated. Recording your runs digitally and racing against your best times is a great way to stay on track. No matter what your own personal running goals entail, recording your trail runs is a great way to keep yourself on track, connect to a community of like-minded individuals and maybe even find some new trails by exploring the routes and data of other runners. Here's How To Stay Motivated Training for a big race is a great way to develop a sense of community around a common goal. Running groups can provide support and motivation from others who are able to empathize with the highs and lows of preparing the mind and body for race day, but Covid-19 has changed the way we’re able to interact with these communities as many big races have been cancelled while we do our part to flatten the curve. Without the in-person encouragement and camaraderie of your team, there are still a number of ways to stay motivated with your training. Mark A Cancelled Event ..read more

In fact, with the current closures of many gym facilities, trails are one of few options for getting out of the house and exercising our legs...but we’re not complaining! The fact is, the fresh air of yo ..read more

The “Heel-ing” Journey
Jen Segger Blog

It has been 3 weeks now since I had my right heel operated on. After waiting for 2 years for my turn in the surgery room, I am relieved to have closed the door of constant pain management and to enter into a new chapter, one that will allow me to return to what I love to do without the tiring aspect of a foot that constantly hurts and has a way of taking the fun out of many of my adventures! And might I remind you, I am no stranger to this exact issue. Four years ago, my left heel bone also calcified, leaving me with a Haglund’s deformity on that foot. After a successful surgery (and one tha ..read more
