Viva Raw Pets has voluntarily recalled one lot of their duck products.
The FDA obtained and tested samples of Viva Duck for Dogs (Chunked) Lot
22853 after a consumer complaint and found that the samples were positive for
Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes.
The 4 impacted products are:
– Viva Duck for Dogs (Ground),
– Viva Duck for Dogs (Chunked)
– Viva Duck for Cats
– Viva Pure Duck.
The products are distributed as frozen 1 lb bricks inclear vacuum packaging.
Viva started shipping this lot out on 10/24/23 and the last units were distributed 12/06/2023.

What the Raw has voluntarily recalled 184 containers of their Single Dried Sardines due to potential Clostridium Botulinum contamination.
There has not yet been an FDA recall notice. The information for the recall is from the Enforcement Report. It states that uneviscerated whole dried sardines used in raw pet food have been recalled to due potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum, the bacteria that cause botulism.
