I just started my first project on my KB afghan loom. I’m using Super Saver yarn and trying to make it for a queen size bed. I’m also using only e wraps. How many rows should I do/how do I calculate the number of rows? submitted by /u/Top-Blood160 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi! So, I'm looking into trying the various casting on methods to find what I like best. Recently, I came across the idea of the crochet chain cast on method. But then I started seeing "crochet" or "chain", or even worse, one or two YouTube channels said they were, and weren't, the same thing. I'm SO confused! IS there a difference between a chain cast on and a crochet cast on? Or just different names for the same thing? My next question is... whether they are the same cast on or not, what's the b ..read more

Loom knitting diagonal holes problem

Posting in behalf of my mums friend. We don’t know why we are getting the diagonal holes? This seems to happen no matter what loom gauge and yarn weight. She made this kid sized beanie and now making an adult beanie and it’s happening again. Does anyone know why or any tips that I can forward onto her? I think it’s from the start but not sure how to fix this problem. Thank you :) submitted by /u/thereoccuringlime [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
