As far as COVID weddings go, this Truro Registry Office wedding was right at the top of them, and I loved every minute of it, however long it might have been. The vast majority of my weddings are booked through recommendation, but this one was a little different as Dani & Chris were recommended to me by a friend who nearly booked me for their own wedding and then regretted not doing so. (I'm sorry Kirsty that you're disappointed with your own wedding photos, but chuffed that you thought to recommended me and hope you approve of the results). Dani & Chris wanted the big weddin ..read more

After living through lockdown I had been wondering what a COVID wedding would look like, I neednt have worried, its got all of the important bits in, just streamlined and I have to say I loved every minute of Becky and Mikes Carlyon Bay Hotel wedding. Becky and Mike booked me last year after Beckys brother Chris booked me for his own Newquay wedding to his wife Lucy. But this was to be quite a different affair. Unfortunately I was unable to meet with the boys before the ceremony because of COVID rulings at the hotel, so I made my way straight over to meet with the gi ..read more

I was so thrilled to be booked for Lucy & Tyson's Greenbank Hotel Wedding with the ceremony being at King Henry the VIII's Pendennis Castle. Lucy and Tyson came to know about me via Lucy's parents who met me at a Pendennis Castle wedding open day, as Lucy and Tyson live in Australia so were very relyant on recommendations from family and friends.  Both Lucy and Tyson were getting ready at The Greenbank hotel which makes things a lot easier for flitting between both bride and groom, but my day started with meeting Tyson getting ready with the boys. Tyson, is definitely the strong ..read more

I've been so excited about being Lisa and Richard's Two Bridges Hotel wedding photographer for a couple of years now. I'd only ever been to Two Bridges Hotel on Dartmoor in Devon once before years ago, so went there with Lisa about a month before the big day to have a proper look around and get to know my happy couple a bit better, but sadly Richard couldn't make it due to work commitments.   After driving to The Two Bridges Hotel through the fog and rain of The Dartmoor National Park admiring the majestic beauty I arrived at my destination. The hotel is an old coaching house an ..read more

Jess and Kev booked me as their 'The Green Cornwall wedding photographer' after coming across me online via Facebook, did a follow, saw me mention about exhibiting at a wedding open day in Newquay and came along to meet me for the first time. It was funny, I was exhibiting right at the front of this wedding open day and I was the first stand Jess and her mum Karen came to when they entered, had a good chat and then turned and left the show without looking at anyone else. I was really flattered that they came just to speak with me :0)My day started with meeting Kev and his best man Josh getting ..read more

Headland Hotel Wedding Photographer - Louise & Duncan

Louise and Duncan's Headland Hotel wedding was a bit of a last minute booking for me, as a lot of couples can book up to two years in advance but Louise and Duncan booked me around three to four weeks before the big day and as it was a short midweek wedding I was only too happy to oblige. Originally their plan was no photographer and then Louise asked her friend Mike Noone of Newquay Chiropractic if he knew any good amatuer photographers. Mike laughed and replied "My best friend is the best pro wedding photographer in the south west!" So Louise being a 'Take the bull by the horns' kind of gal ..read more

Lucy and Chris started their search for their Hendra Barns wedding photographer via Bridebook, a wedding planning website. She first made contact via Bridebook and then the week later happened to bump into me at a wedding open day at Pentillie Castle. After coming over to my office for a chat and to see more of my work believe it or not these two gorgeous souls told me that they weren't comfortable in front of the camera, so about a month before their wedding we went to recreate their engagement at their beloved Crantock beach. Needless to say they left feeling a lot more comfortable about hav ..read more

All weddings are special to me but this one was even more special than all the rest. Why? Because we didn't have one bride present but SIX past and present brides and a seventh was unable to attend due to sickness, all booked from word of mouth :0)Emma and Ed didn't have to look too hard when it came to choosing their wedding photographers as we photographed his older brother and sister-in-law Emma's (yes two new Emma Harris' joining the same family) wedding back in September 2012 and six couples of their invited guests. Its very rare for me to meet up with the boys pre-ceremony when its ..read more

When Koemi and Carl started their search for their Eden Project Wedding Photographer they thought where better to ask than the Eden Project themselves, and I have to say I'm tickled pink that they did, their wedding was such a vibrant colourful wedding full of party loving characters who were SO up for celebrating Koemi and Carl's big day. My day started with visiting the boys who were getting ready at Boscundle Manor near St.Austell. It's been quite a few years since I've been to Boscundle, and it was so lovely being back there, the place was looking just as lovely as I remembered it, an ..read more
