What joy and colour I have to share with you courtesy of Madi and Rohan’s Pen Y Fron wedding in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Swoon! They had already held their legal wedding ceremony, and so this special day was all about celebrating with their loved ones. Think gorgeous colourful flowers, stunning outfits and DIY decor which includes stunning slate signs. Madi is from Wales and Rohan’s family is from India and so they combined both of their cultures to really represent them as a couple. There were so many smiles, a live brass band, a tuk-tuk and sunset portraits in the fields. What a drea ..read more

Oh, what a treat it is to be sharing WWW readers Verity and Lee’s Stables at Ffolkes wedding in Norfolk. Their day is a masterclass in creativity and allowing your personality to shine through on your wedding day. Just you wait… Their vision started from their special quote “to the moon and stars“, which is where the celestial theme emerged. They included starry gold elements, alongside the colourful navy, teal and magenta tones which looked sensational. So much of their day was handcrafted too including the streamers and Verity’s dip dye gown. Many of their loved ones came together to lend th ..read more

WWW readers Alan and Lucy are joining us with their fun and relaxed High Paradise Farm wedding. Their day was a riot of colour, DIY decorations and a lot of smiles. They are keen cyclists and I love how they incorporated bikes, not only during their proposal but during the wedding and the honeymoon too. They had a weekend celebration that spanned 3 days, with a pizza party, the wedding day and Sunday morning breakfast with camping for guests on site. How awesome is that? Being gluten-free myself, I was excited to hear the food was both gluten-free and vegan – it looked amazing! Then there were ..read more

A very warm welcome to Brittany and Patrick, who are kindly sharing their cosy Scout Camp wedding with us, held at Saukenauk Scout Reservation in Illinois. Their day was a total dream and completely focused on community feeling and meaning. They wanted a low-waste celebration and they thrifted, borrowed, rented, bought second-hand and made their own touches. I love this approach to planning and it must have worked really well for their budget too, as it came in below their estimate. Their wedding really felt like a fairytale, with enchanting lighting, dried florals, an outdoor ceremony and sup ..read more

What a delight it is to be sharing Joe and Hollie’s gorgeous and whimsical safari tent wedding. Being an artist, Hollie really stamped her artistic skills onto their day. She skillfully painted the most beautiful stationery, which you’ll see throughout their day. Not to mention planning the wedding colours and pretty decorations herself. Wow! Above all though, I love how relaxed, cosy and autumnal their day was. They really wanted their wedding to feel like them, and that really is the best way to approach planning your day. You’ll fall head over heels for the pretty blooms, stunning outfits ..read more

I was blown away when I read today’s real wedding story. Couple Antony and Andrea set upon renovating the ‘shed’ Antony handbuilt over 15 years ago on their farm to host their day. They totally transformed the space into the perfect rustic converted barn for their reception. I love that they already held dear memories of the barn and are now able to relive all the fun for years to come too. The barn looked amazing complete with wooden pallet tables, haybale seating, a stone bar, a stage area and even a homemade chandelier made from wine bottles. Honestly, if you are planning a DIY wedding, you ..read more
