On 27 November, education and training stakeholders at EU level were reunited by the Lifelong Learning Platform for the annual European Lifelong Learning Stakeholders Forum. End of year gifts The OECD implements the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) in member and non-member countries to evaluate the school performance of 15-year-old pupils in reading, mathematics and science. On 5 December, its 2022 cycle results were published. Each participating country samples 5000 pupils for a 2-hour computerised, standardised assessment on the three fields mentioned before. On 11 December 2023, members of the Lifelong Learning Platform gathered online for an Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA). The main reason for this EGA was to modify LLLP’s statutes and comply with a new Belgian law for companies and associations, essentially modifying terminology.
