While I enjoyed reading this book - it is written in an engaging way and covers lots of interesting topics - I didn't in the end take that much useful information away from it.  This is mainly due to the fact that the vast majority of recovery 'modalities' at best might make you feel good, or like you're doing something at least, utilising the placebo effect if nothing else. Similarly for hydration and nutrition, the conclusion is not to get caught up in hype, and listen to your body. So the main lesson is - GET MORE SLEEP!!
