If you have recently had a dog pass away, then you know how awful it can be trying to decide on the best way to respectfully lay his remains to rest. We had a terrible experience one Thanksgiving when our 18-month-old Labrador – Nike – died in his crate, inside of the car. I was never sure when it happened or even what exactly happened. We were traveling to Idaho to see our family for the holiday and when we got to grandma and grandpa’s house everyone raced into the house and left me to unload it all – just like always. However, this time was different from the many, many other times we had tr ..read more

I am not sure why someone in developed countries like the UK or Germany might be interested in the dog breeds capable of killing a wild lion. However, if I lived in a country where I might run into a wild lion, I would want to know and then buy one of those dogs. In fact, and I will explain this later, I would want at least two or three of these dogs. The following dog breeds are capable of killing a lion: Wolfdogs, Tibetan Mastiff, Dogo Argentino, Neopalitan Mastiff, Rottweilers, Boerboel, Fila Brasilerio, and Kangals. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are not able to kill a lion. Lions are intimidating ..read more

Easy Retriever Training - Raise the pup and enjoy the dog!

For over 35 years, the AKC has declared that the Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog in America. However, when you look closer at how they determine their figures, you will find that there is a major flaw in their calculations. That does not mean the Lab isn’t the most popular dog in America. It simply means that we need to do a little more investigation before we can make the statement. The Labrador might not be the most popular dog in America because the AKC only counts litters and puppy sales of those breeds that they register. They exclude breeds like the Maltipoo, Goldendoodle, and ..read more
