The indie record label Ruptured, founded by producer, DJ and radio host Ziad Nawfal*, has become a household name and a reference when it comes to the vibrant Lebanese music scene.
Through live radio sessions (recorded at Radio Liban since the 90’s) and record releases, the label has helped promote many local talents, sharing their music with a wider audience.
Amidst difficult times this year, they have kept themselves busy and have strived to release new music.

Earlier this year in February, we witnessed The Great Oven pop-up community kitchen at The Ballroomblitz club in Beirut. A beautiful initiative that brought people together to cook, collect food donations, and deliver thousands of meals to those in need.
Since the August 4th tragedy the Great Oven’s team has been tirelessly producing food, managing supplies, and distribution.
With the full endorsement of the Lebanese Foodbank, each of their beautiful communal ovens is capable of producing over 1,000 meals a day.

The Untold Story of Wine in the Middle East is a feature documentary about the history of winemaking in Lebanon and the resilience of the Lebanese entrepreneurial spirit seen through the lens of war and instability.

They have come a long way since June 2012 when they organized their first concert at DRM in Hamra.
Beirut Jam Sessions has been nurturing the live music scene in Beirut for 8 years now.
8 years of hosting great live shows with local and international acts and filming unique jam sessions in the most unexpected places.
In the past few months, thanks to their #bjsinstafest, musicians from all over the world performed short live sets online for our at-home entertainment and listening pleasure.

Meet Maher Harb from @septwinery, a self taught winemaker who revived the family land in Nehla on the beautiful hills over the coastal town of Batroun.
With every bottle he produces, Maher tells a story, he experiments, pushes his craft further, embraces and celebrates the richness of Lebanon’s terroir and its long history of winemaking.
Maher now exports half of his production to the US, UK, Norway, Germany and France. He is pursuing his life-changing passion while always remaining true to himself and his roots.
