Annabelle is such a pretty little princess. She never thought she would be looking for a new place to retire. We are so thankful that she came to NMAR. Annabelle is currently with a foster family who has another dog and 2 children, one of who is a toddler. Annabelle is very well behaved, she has wonderful manners and does extremely well with kids and dogs. She is a healthy 9-year-old Spaniel mix who weighs just under 30 pounds. Have you met Charlie?! Charlie is a male, 60-pound hound mix, around a year old! Charlie is all about having a good time! He LOVES playing with other dogs and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war with both his human and dog friends! Charlie is currently working on containing his excitement by not jumping. Sonny is old. 17 to be exact.  He looks like a slightly tattered stuffed animal.  He has one fairly good eye, his hearing is iffy at best, his hind legs are slightly askew, his coat a bit worn from years of being passed around by people and many of his teeth are missing.  He spends most of his day snoozing on his dog bed not far from my desk.  His favorite time of day?  Mealtime!  I love seeing him happy and content.  For most old dogs, the past is the past, and now it’s all OK.
