I'm evaluating different tools to use for Enterprise Agile/Scrum. Apart from Atlassian Jira and Azure DevOps, I'm not finding any price information. Does anyone know the price for Rally and Digital.AI Agility (200 users)? submitted by /u/Ok_Disaster_1809 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Goodmorning! Soon I will start as a freelance Agile Coach and freelance Scrum Master in the Netherlands. Because of all the options I don't know exactly which insurances I need. Bedrijfsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering, arbeidsongeschiktheid is an insurance I do need and want. But do I need a beroepsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering as Agile Coach or Scrum Master. Who can enlighten me? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Diligent-Habit-9189 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Off Topic Stand Up Meetings

Throwaway account for this. I am a BA on two product teams. The PO and SM are also on both teams, but the developers and QA are only on one team. I've been with the teams a year and previously worked with another company as a BA for 6+ years. The product teams have been in place for about two years and still struggle with some agile processes (in my opinion). We had a new SM join the team a few months ago and he is creating new issues and contributing to existing issues which are starting to drive me crazy: Our daily stand ups are scheduled for 15 minutes each. This should be plenty of time f ..read more

Feature completion - Report / Powerpoint

Hi folks! I'm a Scrum Master in the automotive industry and our counterpart has asked to add a slide that represent the features completion for what was agreed to commit during the PI. I have created a filter that shows all the stories completed/incomplete(which are set to "resolved" once all the tasks assigned to a given story are resolved as well), but I feel I'm missing a layer of granularity or I would ideally want to make it more precise. With the above, I can simply do: 6 stories for feature A, if 3 are resolved then 50% of the job is done. I was thinking about considering the story poi ..read more

Team rebels against too many meetings. What can I do?

My team is three months post-launch of a major product. They’ve had time to rest and celebrate. Now they’re feeling there are too many things to do and too much bull**it in the way to be happy and productive. We have a list of 100+ bugs that are user and volunteer admin-submitted and not in the backlog. Some have been prioritized by me the PM. We have a bunch of database management and adjustments to make and the only one who knows how and what to do is the dba so there are not yet stories and clear criteria for done. The team is feeling that while there’s structured agile work to do where ag ..read more

Hi! I work at a major research lab in the IT department. I am a senior manager, and I have two managers that report to me. Each manager has their own team that develops solutions for internal clients, focused around a specific platform (e.g. Wordpress Team uses wordpress to build sites for researchers, SharePoint team builds internal sites and solutions for different departments). Currently, each team has their own agile backlog and sprint board, and when I came to the organization, they had implemented the SAFe module of ServiceNow to set everything up. To me, it seems overly complicated and ..read more
