I finally gathered the courage to start my „sock goals“ project, the Rad Radish Socks by Stoneknits. It took me so much time and willpower to start, because I have a really hard time getting myself to concentrate and try something new. But I did and I really love the outcome - and I enjoy knitting with two colors! I like looking at each round and figuring out the rhythm of catching floats.
I had to do the part shown in the photo three times, though: The first time I did not look at any tutorials and kind of winged it. For catching floats, I twisted the balls of yarn in my yarn bowl ?

Found out about planned pooling from a link from this sub a few weeks ago while trying to identify this yarn (still no luck). There are a lot of resources for crochet but almost none for knitting, for argyle especially. So I finally got it going to a point where it looks mostly sober and also I’m glad to see this yarn knitting up into something less ugly than anything I tried to use it for previously…because I had no idea what it could do before.

Up until now, way less scary than i thought it would be.
I'm so excited to do it, the majority of my clothing is black, and finally my knitting is catching on.
If you feel it in your heart, start to knit in black immediately. You will crush it.
