I have no need for a dinning room with a china cabinet set it. I would only use it a few times a year. Boomers had a need for a dinning room since homes were more affordable and you had extra space.

Today while complaining about how expensive housing is and how we’ll never be able to afford to buy a house.
My Gen X dad told me that it sounds like my husband and I need to get a second job. I currently work 55 hours per week and my husband 50 hours per week. We are exhausted all the time. Both work blue collar/physically active jobs.
Yet they want me I need to start giving them grandkids and be a SAHM…I can’t if I’m working 2 jobs just to afford a mortgage on a “cheap” house.

Just a random question. But just curious what people of our generation like to snack on. I know boomers loved potted meat and things like that.
