What are some useless things that older generations had that you see no need for? i.e. a dinning room with china cabinet set.

I have no need for a dinning room with a china cabinet set it. I would only use it a few times a year. Boomers had a need for a dinning room since homes were more affordable and you had extra space. submitted by /u/Dipsetallover90 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I long for the days when we traded Pogs and celebrities could get away with double murders in spite of DNA evidence. Those were simpler times.

Today while complaining about how expensive housing is and how we’ll never be able to afford to buy a house. My Gen X dad told me that it sounds like my husband and I need to get a second job. I currently work 55 hours per week and my husband 50 hours per week. We are exhausted all the time. Both work blue collar/physically active jobs. Yet they want me I need to start giving them grandkids and be a SAHM…I can’t if I’m working 2 jobs just to afford a mortgage on a “cheap” house. submitted by /u/mama2coco [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Just a random question. But just curious what people of our generation like to snack on. I know boomers loved potted meat and things like that. submitted by /u/Aliveandthriving06 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

This was Spotify before Spotify was even a thing. I remember doing my homework on my dad’s computer while listening to a Tupac/Biggie station. I credit it for introducing me to a lot of artists.
