Dear all, When I joined this sub I really expected to see discussion about how to clothe yourself ethically. While I understand that ethical brands are a step-up from fast fashion, ethical fashion, in my view, mostly means not producing any new raw materials. I keep seeing posts about ethical brands and ethical dupes. This is still mainly about consuming new clothes and not about rethinking clothing. Ethical fashion subs everywhere are no stranger to posts complaining about how boring so much of the non-fast-fashion world is, and I do totally get it. But then all the recommendations that come in are always for brands that are making stuff that is suuuuper "loud" style wise—like bold colors and patterns and modern vibes and CHEETAHS AND LIGHTNING STRIKES!
