Mothers' Day 2019- lovely! Cards, flowers, phone calls, texts added to the annual M Day lunch at the SDYC and sail. In years past I've taken pics of mothers with their kids and/or grandkids, but this year the only pic I took was with Davey's cell phone when Monica asked me to photograph her with her boys. It seems like the only photos I regularly take these days are cell phone shots of my punching projects. I'm very pleased with how the wedding couple (Lindsey and Travis) turned out. Buffalo Beach on Catalina Island is the favorite vacation spot for the Folsoms. They try to get there two or three times a year. As a college graduation gift for Emilie in June, I've punched my first scenic. I think it turned out really well, especially since to me the five family members are easily identifiable. Parker, #6, is on the Varsity Volley Ball team, and it's fun to watch the matches. This is the first time I've used my cell phone for pictures of a sports event. Today is the day I planned to begin new travels - first to NYC to visit the Bensons, then to Vietnam, and then to Japan. I cancelled the trip because of Biff's health, so instead I'm hooking up a storm.  Mainly I'm working on a large table runner. I also decided to decorate the two valences of our living room window.
