The Riders and Rebels are back at it competing for the Supporters Cup this year on July 29th! The match will be played in the Socios.com Field House this year due to scheduling issues. This Saturday, April 8th, we welcome our rivals from Montreal down for our annual Maple Syrup Derby. We invite you to enter our inaugural Maple Syrup Contest and finally show our friends in 1642 MTL, whose Rich Amber is truly the best. Submit a sample of your favorite local New England or Canadian Maple Syrup, and we’ll hold a taste test at the tailgate. The bus is back! We’ve teamed up with the Rebellion for the NYRB match on July 8th. There are two pickup locations: Riverside MBTA Station (Newton, MA) and Gillette Stadium. The Riverside bus will make a stop in Wallingford, CT to collect and also drop back off folks on the return. The bus spots will be for Rebellion and Midnight Riders members only until April 30th. Come and try to take down one of our defending champions in the Midnight Riders’ 9th Annual Chili Cookoff! Last year’s Clean Sheets for Clean Sheets campaign was a resounding success, having raised over $2,800 for the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless’ “A Bed For Every Child” initiative. Be sure to join us for the Golf Classic and Charity Dinner! It will be taking place at Stow Acres Country Club in Stow, MA on August 14th, 2022. In collaboration with Earl Edwards, Jr. and Black Players for change, we created a tifo display for the Revs’ game on Juneteenth. With the new President of BPCMLS here in New England, we had a pair of meetings with Earl and BPCMLS to see if we could carry out Earl’s vision of what a tifo could like on this holiday. In addition to taking our creative direction from Earl, we purchased our font from black typographer Tré Seals.
