Hey friends, Happy National Sewing Month! I wanted to share a quick update of what direction I am planning on taking this space. I mentioned wanting to change the direction of my blog to Eric and he has been helping me to focus and make a plan. What started out as taking a short breather, unintentionally, turned into a year-long break from blogging. Last year at this time a few big life-changing events took over my time resulting in blogging being pushed off to the side. I never intended to let it go on this long though. So, what life-changing things happened in a year’s time? I started teaching an adult intro sewing course once a week for a local community education program. Simplicity 2223 Hey there! Time has flown by too quickly and here we are, halfway through summer, at the beginning of August. I figured maybe I should post a quick update with a few things I have made over the last four months. It has been a lot of pattern testing, strike sewing, and alterations for others. My make nine’s for me, Eric, and home are suffering. I am pretty sure I will not be able to make all the projects on my home make nine since a lot of them were quilts and I haven’t started a single one.
