Just in time for Mother's Day, we're releasing the results from the inaugural Ski Moms' Happiness Survey. As an organization, we decided that standing on the sidelines waiting for change simply wasn't an option. For over a decade, Momtrends Media has been trying to remove the friction points that keep more families from the slopes. We've build a huge, supportive online community of women helping women to get out and play. Now we're providing the ski industry with the data they need to be agents of change.

In Vermont it is nearly impossible to spend a day outdoors without seeing a Skida accessory. In the winter, you'll spot colorful neckwarmers on the lift or spy a cozy alpine hat on the cross country ski trails. In warmer weather, you'll see the flat brimmed hats at farmer's markets or swimming holes. You'll know it's Skida because of the fun print.

There is some mighty challenging skiing at Alyeska. They have a well-earned reputation for being steep and deep. As a ski mom, I like to balance physical exertion with quality rest and recovery. At most resorts, this means booking a well-earned massage or maybe just soaking in an overcrowded hot tub at the hotel. Alyeska resort in Alaska has invested in a tremendous spa that offers ski moms, ski dads and anyone over 18 the chance to chill out in the forest and take in some therapeutic treatments. It's an incredible facility and I highly recommend you carve out plenty of time to rejuvenate here ..read more

When we plan our ski vacations, we aren't afraid to spend a little money to make the trip less stressful and to give us easy access to the slopes. They Alyeska Resort checks all those boxes and made for a tremendous home base for our Alaska ski adventures.

Where I live, spring means dryness. Dry skin, dry hair, dry hands. Dry throat, nose and eyes. Between the temperature fluctuation of rain, sun and cruel spring winds – not to mention allergies and the occasional spring cold – and I am always looking for ways to battle dryness.
But this spring, I have a new weapon against dryness: the Hey Dewy humidifier.
This small, portable personal humidifier packs a powerful punch. Although less than 8 inches tall, it can provide up to 8 hours of uninterrupted cool mist hydration. It’s both wireless and whisper-quiet so it can move from deskside to bedside ..read more

It seems like I've been trying to get to Alaska for a decade. It's been on my bucket travel list forever. Blessed with incredible national parks, a stunning coastline and a topography we in the Lower 48 can only dream of, Alaska has been beckoning. Finally, the planets aligned and I worked with the team at Alyeska Resort to plan an epic spring break adventure that included spring skiing, but so much more. I have oodles to tell you about this adventure, but lets just start by saying this place DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.
Some ski resorts struggle to keep up with the hype their social media teams gener ..read more

As a mother I may not have much "me time". Usually I throw my hair up in a ponytail, slap on some makeup and I'm out the door to school and 50 million other "mom" errands. When I do take some time to pamper myself, I try to find products that 1. don't take much time and 2. make me feel beautiful. I love to pamper myself from time to time and often have "spa nights" in my bathroom. A good bubble bath, a fresh pedicure, test out a new beauty product and I'm a happy mama.

Booking an all-inclusive resort is a leap of faith, as a traveller, you are locked into the resort for food, entertainment and lodging. This can be a big gamble. It is also a way to save your family a bit of money and ton of hassle. My recent spring break adventure to the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort in Mexico was mostly a success. For a family looking for a clean, safe resort with touches of high-end luxury, it's a good value. The resort offers plenty to do for a short trip and delivers food and entertainment to keep everyone smiling.
