Hobby zone firebird commander 2 rudders.

So i got my hands on a commander. It’s cute but the rudders were kinda loose. On first flight it was impossible to control except for the engine bringing it to climb or dive. We landed hard and the piece broke off at the joint. I taped it back on and it is okay this way but they’re still loose so I put a rubber band on it. Now they’re flat when it’s at rest and the servo brings each up nice when activated. I’m planning on flying in 2 days when the weather calls for calm conditions. Think this will work? What are your thoughts. Hope I made my mod clear. submitted by /u/James-muravska [visit r ..read more

I have a cheap non expensive plane that I’ve crashed plenty of times, and it’s served me well. And I am looking for a nice rtf plane preferably around 200$ and I would like a commercial airliner looking plane or a carbon cub looking plane. submitted by /u/Dumbsucculent [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Mode 4

Hi, i’m new in this world, so I’ve bought a used jr pcm9x to start with. It has the throttle stick on the right, but I would like to fly in mode 4. In the radio setting i can set mode 4, but the left stick returns always to the centre, so I would have always 50% gas. I would also have big problems with elevators not returning on 0 because the right stick doesn’t return in the centre. Is there a way to fix? submitted by /u/Giaco109 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

F14 Project

Would it be possible to build a F14 in a 1/5 or 1/6 scale with it having all functions, I mean ALL. So wing sweep, spoilers, supersonic extendable winglets, elevons, differentiatable flaps, lighting and maybe even afterburner? Would that even be possible? submitted by /u/michi_2010 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I’m adding a UMX AirTractor receiver to this balsa model. It’s already getting heavy but hopefully 3s will get it into the sky ? I have one spare servo slot should I add a cargo drop? All comments and guidance are welcome ? submitted by /u/Ok-Guidance-4184 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

So what re the rules surrounding a over 250gram home-made builds in the Uk. I live in the countryside and I am a teen and not in any Rc plane clubs and wondering how I can make my plane legal. Yes I can just use google but sometimes talking to someone makes it easier to understand. I will go more in depth is someone replies. But basically I am wondering what are the consequences and what to do if my plane is over 250grams submitted by /u/Crimson-Horizon [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Put some projects on hold to sample a new piece of merchandise figured I wouldI old faithful while I was at it. Let’s just say it was an interesting morning. First up was the new Park 10 F22. A lot of you, and myself before I got it will look at this and think toy pass. well you’re not wrong but man is it fast and powerful! I’ve never seen the nose of a plane quite come apart like that from just one nose dive, I’ll be it from very high. Next up my old faithful predator!
