The Swiss Championship season 2023 is already history with the last race in Arlesheim. The RC Racing Club Arlesheim has organized a good event, many thanks from us. Sporting it went once again very well for the Schmids. Nico was not to be beaten in this race in 2WD as well as in 4WD. The 4th round of the Swiss Ofroad Series, SOS for short, took place in Turbenthal at the OTT. The organisers spared no effort and presented a new track on both Saturday and Sunday, which was really cool. The catering was super good and reasonably priced. Many thanks to the whole team of the OTT it was a top occasion. There was a relaxed atmosphere on both days. Nico and Florian Schmid drove 2 and 4 WD. The new year has hardly begun and the first Swiss championship race is already history. This took place on the 21st and 22nd. Janurary 2023 in Wädenswil in the hall of the EMBCM. The club has temporarily set up both an on-road and an off-road track in a tennis hall. The space is ample and the tracks are accordingly fast and a bit tyre-killing in the offroad area… Many thanks to the EMBCM for this great location. After 2 years Corona break took place on 7. and 8. January 2023  for the 27th time the Winterchamps in the Herrenriedhalle. More than 100 participants from Austria, Germany and Switzerland took part. The drivers competed in various classes (Buggy 2WD, Buggy 4WD and Monster Truck) for victory. The EFACH built a very technical and challenging race track in the Herrenriedhalle. The traditional event in Altnau is the MRTO Challenge. Unfortunately, the organizer told us that it was probably the last event of the very popular race in eastern Switzerland. It was a very successful event, the catering (until late at night) was excellent and the track was fun.
