Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives shared his Tesla (TSLA) Q1 2024 delivery estimates on X. He predicts a demand issue after a “nightmare” quarter for Tesla China.  Ives forecasts that Tesla will report a delivery between 425,000 and 475,000 units in the first quarter. It appears that Tesla is no longer accepting Fisker Ocean trade-ins from customers. A screenshot of Tesla’s apparent notice that’s been shared online noted that the trade-in pause is temporary, and it was implemented partly due to uncertainties surrounding the electric vehicle startup.  Followers of Fisker on the r/Fisker subreddit have noted that the walls seem to be closing in on the electric vehicle startup. Electric vehicle startup Fisker has reportedly lost track of millions of dollars worth of customer payments as the company attempted to scale the deliveries of its only vehicle available today — the Fisker Ocean. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently reiterated an ambitious target for the company’s humanoid robot. As per Musk in a recent post on X, he still thinks that the Tesla Optimus price would be around half of a car.
