I’m 18 and want to learn the basics of cooking this July but can’t seem to find anything that’s not a professional course or a one time class. Does anyone know something that could help me?

I sometimes bake slices in the pan with oil, but I never know when they're actually safe to eat? Usually I steam them first but not too much so that they're easy slicable. I read today that you don't need to steam them before baking so I didn't steam them this time. But now I feel like they were still too raw? I baked them as usual untill they had brown edges.

Looking for healthy suggestions to add to my faux ice cream recipe to make it creamier.
I currently add chia seeds, almond milk and avocado for fat and let the chia seeds soak up overnight. I then blend it all up in my Vitamix. Once defrosted it’s a bit creamy but looking to make it even more so.
What types of stabilizers can I add to make it more creamy but keep the carbs and sugars low or at zero?

I went to a chinese buffet and loved the taste of this. I bought this one from kroger and seems to have some sort of cream. I'll experiment with mayonnaise (if that's how it's written) to see if the taste gets similar to the buffet's crab salad. I believe the name of the crab salad there was cheese crab salad and something else but what other recommendations do you have? I have some stuff to season it as well, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley flakes, ketchup, etc I got some stuff in the kitchen. Thanks for the suggestions! I eat the crab salad with those unsalted square cookies.
